Old Business:

Discussion about Membership dues and Drug Program dues being paid at the same time in the month of January and running for a calendar year. Topic was tabled until May when a decision will be made. Come up with ideas for pro-rating new members.

New Business:

Purchasing of Fishing Licenses:

Discussion revolved around whether there is a back-up plan for when the licensing machines freeze up. Can they be hand written? Etc. Paul will call and speak to Ray Petering about the situation and possible give some suggestions. Would like to have someone at the May meeting from ODNR to answer questions.

Paul, Jerry, Barry and Rick met with the Governor and the many issues pertaining to Lake Erie. Left with the feeling that our issues were well received and that the Governor would get back to us in the next 60 days to follow up.

Paul Pacholski meet with members at the UT Center to discuss the Bayshore Power Plant situation and the numbers are much higher.

Jerry Abele discussed the TAC meeting stating that the walleye limit will remain at 6 this year. The 2007 numbers that are currently coming in are better.

Chris Moore raised the subject of nets being seen out by the beach. Many walleye seen in the nets. Please take pictures if possible . This has been reported to ODNR.
